Our aim with Clifton eventers is to produce quality New Zealand eventers, ranging from really starry Olympic calibre horses to easy-to-ride schoolmasters/packers. We buy the best youngsters we can find, plus a few older, more established horses with proven track records with amateur riders. In addition to being sound, sane and viceless, they must also have good conformation and movement, a balanced gallop and, above all, a great jump technique. No short cuts are taken. The basics are done thoroughly and correctly.
