Never out of top 10 at his five eventing starts since March 2010.

  • Novice April
    • 62% dressage
    • Clear jumping cross country and show jumping
    • 11.6 time faults dropped him to 10th
  • Novice May
    • 61.7% dressage
    • Clear jumping cross country
    • One rail show jumping
    • Steady for 25.6 time faults but still came 7th over tough track.
  • Placed 8th and 4th at Pre-Novice starts in April.

Training October

  • 82.5% dressage
  • Jumped clear cross country and show jumping
  • Would have won if pushed for time cross country but taken steady due to poor ground conditions. Still finished 8th despite 27.6 time faults.

Lovely big rangey type with three good dressage paces with an exceptional canter. Also easy, ground-covering gallop.

Very scopey jump with excellent technique. Bold yet careful.

Won competitive 1.10m show jumping and jumping double clears at 1.15m already.

Easy to ride but must go to a seriously ambitious rider as he will be wasted otherwise.

By Volksread out of Spurs who is by Truly Vain. Born 1st November 2001.

Fully vetted, including x-rays and scope in June 2009.

Note: Novice Horse Trial level in New Zealand equates to Preliminary Horse Trial level in the USA.
