Clifton Lush, ridden by Joe Meyer, slipped to 13th place at this weekend's CCI**** event at Luhmühlen, near Hamburg in northern Germany, after collecting four rails and four time faults in the final show jumping phase, taking their score to 69.0 penalties.

Clifton Lush, ridden by Joe Meyer, has become the leading Kiwi combination at this weekend's WEG selection event after completing an "absolutely stunning" clear cross-country round 14 seconds under the optimum time, taking the pair to sixth place on the leaderboard.

Five Kiwi combinations, including Joe Meyer on Clifton Lush, are competing at the Luhmühlen four-star in Germany this weekend in the hope they score a place on the short-list for the WEG in September.
