Just 30 minutes from the North Shore or Auckland, Clifton Eventers is excited to offer world class livery in an elite environment.
You and your horse can now train at the New Zealand home of Jonathan Paget, the country's leading event rider for 2009/10 and seventh overall at the 2010 WEG.
Unlike other livery or agistment facilities, at Clifton Eventers you can take advantage of our performance focus, professional expertise and experience at the top of our sport. We're a working environment, preparing horses for all levels, including world class competition, so naturally you get specialist training and professional 24/7 care for your horse.
Have us keep your horse competition ready for you to enjoy when your schedule allows. And since we're just 30 minutes from the North Shore or Auckland your horse is never far away. 
What we offer
Ridden / schooled four times every week
Your horse will be worked four times every week by one of our professional riders. We will develop a tailored schooling/exercise programme with you that will evolve to deliver your goals. A typical programme would see your horse warmed up on the walker, receive 20-45 minutes of schooling, before being washed and cooled off on the walker.
Jump on and ride
When you come and ride your horse, if you call us beforehand it will be ready for you — groomed, warmed up, tacked and ready for you to ride. After riding, you can depart whenever you wish, knowing it will be washed off, cooled down on the horse walker, checked over, covers on and turned out. Talk about hassle-free riding!
Competition preparation
If you are off to a competition, we can have your horse prepared to a high standard, all ready plaited and ready for the truck or float (extra charges may apply).
Feed and endless baleage
Your horse will be hard fed twice daily and will have an endless supply of baleage (excludes supplements & special feed requirements).
Staff 24/7
Staff present for farrier, vet, clipping, teeth, etc. Our experienced staff live on site with at least one responsible person there at all time.
Top equine vet on call at all times.
Facilities
You get full use of Clifton Eventers' facilities, which include:
Arena
70 x 42 m, sand and rubber surface.
Gallop
500 metre hill gallop for fitness, 50 acres of hacking and 50 km of Muriwai Beach.
Cross-country schooling
Includes water jump and mobiles
Stable block
Tie-up stalls
Loose stalls 5x4 m
Wash down bay
Paddocks
Individual 50x20 m paddock, mucked out regularly.
All paddocks use Gallagher's EquiFence, a proven extremely safe electric fence.
Automatic water troughs in all stables and paddocks.
All paddock gateways and feed areas have free-draining limestone base to minimise mud fever and abscesses.
Horse walker
Perfect for daily warm up and cooling down to save you time and for injury prevention and rehabilitation.
From as little at $20 a day!
The basic rate for long-term agistment including schooling four times a week is from $260/week plus GST. However, you can also configure your own plan to suit your needs — so you can get all of this apart from the schooling from as little as $20* a day (that's only $140* a week including feed!), with schooling/exercise extra at $40 per session.
