Clifton Pledge

Named after top horse Clifton Promise – need we say more! Fabulous mover and great scopey jumper.

8yo 16.1hh Dark Bay Gelding TB x WB.

Exceptional natural talent. We liked him so much we saw him as Clifton Promise's successor. We have not been disappointed!

Consistently placed at Horse Trials from Training up to Novice and lovely clear cross country at only Intermediate start.

  • Regularly over 70% in dressage.
  • Never had a cross country jump fault.

Easy, bold and safe.

Completed National 3 Day Event Championships CCI* (May 2010)

  • 66.5 dressage (50.2 penalties)
  • Clear under time cross country.
  • Two rails show jumping.

Could be a straight dressage horse, he is so strong in this phase:

  • Scored up to 77.6%.
  • 16 out of 20 marks were 8s.
  • All collective marks were 8s.
  • Another test at 75.3% with collective comment ‘3 very good paces, quality movement'.
  • Placed 4th in only test at Dressage Championships, only 3.5% off second place.

Never gets hot. Very rideable and extremely eye-catching.

Beautifully scopey jump. Finds it all very easy. Very bold cross country but doesn't pull at all.

Red Cat – grandson of Aberlou

Scarlet Rising by Primitive Rising, sire of many eventers and show jumpers in U.K.

Born Xmas Day 2002.

Snaffle mouth in all three phases.

Must go to a rider who is serious about going to the top. He is far too good to waste.

Fully vetted, including x-rays and scope in 2008.
