Clifton Guvner
Lovely young horse showing all the talent needed to go to the top. By the same sire as Clifton Shiraz, previously ridden by David O'Connor who rated the horse extremely highly before his tragic death in a paddock accident.
16.2hh Bay TB Gelding
Placed third at his first Training Horse Trial with a 63% dressage which he finished on.
Always jumped clear cross country. Only had one rail in stadium in total. Generally taken quietly and correctly with the long-term in mind.
Three good expressive paces with natural elevation. Will do a lovely test once established.
By Grosvenor who has sired many top jumping horses – both eventers and show jumpers. These include Clifton Shiraz who went to David O'Connor as an Intermediate eventer, David rapidly started winning at Advanced level and the horse was targeted to defend David's Olympic Individual Eventing Gold Medal in Athens 2004 before being killed in a tragic paddock accident.
Snaffle mouth in all phases.
