25 June, 2010 The selection of Andrew Nicholson and three of his horses – Nereo, Avebury and Mr Cruise Control – as the only members of the ‘A Squad’ in yesterday’s announcement by Equestrian Sports New Zealand (ESNZ) clearly demonstrates the UK rider’s continuing domination of the sport in the lead-up to the World Equestrian Games in Kentucky later this year. |

12 October, 2009 Unfortunately, after consultation with Jonathan Paget, Neil Houston, Eventing team vet and Erik Duvander, Eventing High Performance leader, it has been decided to withdraw Clifton Promise for consideration as a member of the Trans-Tasman squad due to go to the Australian International 3 Day 4-star event, held in Adelaide 13-15 November. |

The Clifton Eventers facility at Muriwai is to be opened by the local MP, The Honourable John Key, Prime Minister and MP for Helensville, on Friday, 16 October.
Also in attendance will be the Honourable Murray McCully, Minister for Sport and Recreation and MP for East Coast Bays. |

07 September, 2009 Clifton Eventers is offering a Junior/Young Rider a Training Scholarship at their Muriwai eventing base. The successful applicant needs to be naturally talented, but more importantly committed, hard working and serious about learning how to develop horses and themselves to represent New Zealand at top-level eventing. |

19 December, 2008 The CCI* Junior class at this weekend's Richfields Horse Trials will offer not only free entry for competitors, but also training scholarships to the winner and placegetters. Placegetters will also receive subscriptions to Horse and Pony Magazine. |
